Thank you to all the cyclists, sponsors and volunteers who made the 20th Anniversary of Reach the Beach a huge success!  While we are still processing the donations collected at the event, we are projecting a total of over $500,000 raised for the American Lung Association in Oregon! 

We are also sending a special congratulation to Reach the Beach riders Sonal Dave and Alix Land! 

 Sonal and Alix were the two riders who had the highest number of online donations this year; Sonal had 95 and Alix had 35.  As a thank you for their fundraising efforts, they each will receive an entry to Trek Tri Island, a three-day cycling adventure in the San Juan Islands this fall.  Visit www.cleanairadventures.org/trek_tri_island for more details about the ride organized by our sister organization in Washington.

Reach the Beach 2011 is scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 2011.  Registration for the event is slated to open in January 2011.

The ride starts from four different locations: Portland (100 mi), Newberg (80 mi), Amity (55 mi) or Grand Ronde (28 mi). We provide superb organization, beautiful routes, medical and mechanical support on course, 8 lunch and snack stops and a magnificent beach party with a delicious, hearty feast. Reach the Beach is one of Oregon's premier cycling events. Spend the day with us, and explore Oregon.
